When she was 11 years old, she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. next year, she picked up a guitar, and began writing songs. Swift got inspiration from musicians of country music like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and, more recently, the Chicks to develop original material that expressed the apathy she felt at the age of thirteen. Swift left Pennsylvania with her family and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she turned 13 to devote more time to the wooing of label labels for country music in Nashville.
