Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, actress and board member of SSC since 2011, is the founding co-artistic director of the recently established theater firm Speech of Fire. She worked as the Artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until the end of 2019. Also, she was the producer and costume designer, as well as writer/musician, and coach of the text for SSC in her capacity as the Artistic Director of SSC. She usually directed from the in front of the acting troupe, in her last season at SSC she became a director and lighting designer. Post had previously been married Stephen Knox. She has two daughters with the actor/writer Michael A. Ross, whom she was married to in 1982.
